       Like many of you, one of my goals for 2017 is to get in better shape! Whenever I work out regularly I feel so much better. More energy, clearer skin, the list goes on and on and is so worth it! New workout clothes are something that I think gives everyone motivation to hit the gym. Whether you are looking for high end pieces, or affordable, there is something for everyone above!

       I thought I'd also share with you a few tips ((in addition to the new clothes!)) that keep me motivated:

- Write it down! I always write my workouts in my planner AFTER they are done, and in a bright color. That way it stands out! Then, at the end of the week I can see the full week spread of all these workouts I've completed. This always makes me feel productive and on track.

- Mix it up! I'm the kind of person that can't do the same exact workout every day. I get bored! I like to run, spin, lift weights, do hot yoga, and even a Zumba "Mix it Up" DVD. Workout videos are something I've never been into, but for some reason I love this one and have been doing it for years. It's 30 minutes and focuses on abs, but also works your arms and legs. This DVD has been a huge help when it comes to shrinking my waist line.

- Take a class! If you're reading this and thinking "I haaaaaate classes" hear me out! Whenever I'm feeling unmotivated and avoiding the gym, I force myself to go to a class. It's a great way to get yourself back into the groove of things. Since you're following an instructor, it really helps to show yourself what you're capable of, and gives you the motivation to get back in workout mode.

  1. I definitely agree with mixing it up! If I stick to the same workout routine I tend to get bored and then I just stop. Great tips girly!
